A fair, objective, transparent, and consistent process for evaluating scholarly research in engineering and technology.

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Engineering Technologies (JMDET) is dedicated to ensuring excellence in academic standards by utilizing a peer review system that is impartial, objective, transparent, and consistent. Each manuscript submitted to JMDET is evaluated properly for its originality, technical quality, significance, validity, and contribution to the field of engineering and technology research.

JMDET adopts a peer review process characterized by the evaluation of manuscripts by suitable reviewers who have expertise in the subjects. The purpose of this review process is to ensure that there is no bias in the review process, that there is confidentiality in submitted papers, and that feedback is constructive.

The manuscript that is submitted initially passes through the screening process by the editorial board in order to check its suitability with respect to the aims and scope of the journal and compliance with the basic submission guidelines.

Editorial Decisions

After considering the reviewers' comments and recommendations, the Editor may make one of the following decisions:

Accept without revision

Accept with minor revisions

Revise and resubmit after major revisions

Reject the manuscript

For the authors who receive revision suggestions, it is necessary to take into account their reviews and to submit a revised manuscript during a specific time frame. At times, the authors might also need to submit a response where they describe how they have taken care of each suggestion of the reviewers.

A revised manuscript can also be reviewed before the decision regarding its final publication.

Confidentiality and Ethical Review

Manuscripts' confidentiality is upheld by JMDET during the peer-review process. Reviewers should make objective comments, guard confidential information, and declare any conflict of interest.

The decision-making process by the journal editors takes into consideration several factors, including originality, relevance, methodology, ethics, scholarship, and reviewers' comments.
